Our Team
Douglas is the President and CEO of AFC Lending. Douglas brings over thirty years of experience in virtually all aspects of real estate development, construction, and financing. Douglas founded Holmes Land Development Corporation, in 2002 and prior to that, owned and operated several other corporations, partnerships and LLC’s all involved in real estate development and construction. Douglas formed AFC Lending in 2018 and has overseen dozens of mortgages financed. And do date, Douglas, through various entities has designed, developed and constructed over $90,000,000 of residential housing in the San Diego coastal areas having built close to 100 total homes.
Mr. Usselman has over 30 years of real estate experience ranging from mortgage origination, distress mortgage work out, ground up real estate development and complete property rehabilitation. Mark has been the President of River Rock Capital Investments, Incorporated since February 2012. In this capacity Mark has purchased, managed and worked through over $40,000,000.00 in distressed residential mortgage debt throughout the United States. River Rock is also an active investor in multifamily residential projects nationwide. Mark joined Americas Finest City Lending in February of 2020 to focus on developing and implementing marketing strategies to expand the company’s origination platform.
